Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Upon your arrival at Kigali airport, our company representative will welcome you and transfer to your hotel in Kigali. Dinner and overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel/Hotel Des Mille/ Hotel Rwanda /Kigali Novotel Gorilla hotel or Iris Hotel.
Day 2: Kigali city tour and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Past breakfast, leave for Kigali city tour which will take you to most places of tourism interest in Rwanda. Have lunch and later transfer to Volcanoes National Park arriving late evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Gorillas Nest Lodge/Mountain Gorilla view lodge/Kinigi guest house
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking
Have an early breakfast and go for briefing before going for gorilla trekking in Volcano National Park before 9.00 am. It takes between 2 – 8 hours before encountering the mountain gorillas. The experience of coming face to face with the mountain gorillas in the wilderness is the highlight of a tour to Africa. Tracking may take 2-8 hours depending on the gorilla movements. Some gorilla families are so elusive that it may take you longer to track them especially when it is wet and muddy. Overnight at Gorilla Nest Lodge/mountain gorilla view lodge /Kinigi guest house
Day 4: Transfer to Gisenyi
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Kivu in Gisenyi. After your lunch at the beach, undertake a launch cruise on this spectacular lake. You opt to go fishing. Dinner and overnight at Kivu Sun Hotel /Regina Hotel/Bel Vedre Hotel /Palm Beach Hotel.
Day 5: Departure enroute
After Breakfast, we shall travel back to Kigali to easily connect with your Flight schedule or Hotel if spending another Night
