DAY 1: Kampala – Fortportal
You will be picked by our guide from your hotel by our guide early in the morning. Take the Kampala Fort Portal road where you will have lunch in Fort Portal and proceed to Sempaya. Pass through Rwenzori Mountain and be able to see the snow on top of the mountain. You will get to the head quarters of Semliki Park and have refreshments then take the night game drives to see monkeys, baboons, chimpanzees, target rats and many others. After the drive you will have dinner and an over night at Bumaga Camp.
DAY 2: Chimpanzee Tracking
You will have breakfast early in the morning, and then head for a walk and will be able to see the exotic primates, mammals and bird species in the dense forests. Most of all you will see the chimpanzees playing and jumping in the fruiting trees. You will then go back to the lodge for lunch and then go to Fort Portal for shopping and then go back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.
DAY 3: Guided Walk, Crater Lakes
You will have an early breakfast, have a guided walk and visit the crater lakes in the region and while doing that you may get chance to also interact with the people around this area. You will also visit the Nyakasura area and see the famous “Amabeere Ga Nyina mwiru”. After having a short lunch, go have a brief visit to the Tooro Kingdom palace and then return to Kampala.
