7 Days Rwanda & Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay
Meet and greet at Kigali International Airport. Depending on your time of arrival, our company driver / guide may propose to you a visit of Kigali city which includes the Genocide Memorial centre at Gisozi.

Day 2: An Exciting Activity tracking mountain gorillas Rwanda
Go to the park headquarters for an important briefing before setting out to the mountain slopes in search for the largest primates. It is an exhilarating moment on encountering the gorillas. This takes about a full day but is dependant on the Gorilla movement.
Dinner and overnight at Volcanoes Virunga Lodge / Mountain gorilla view lodge / Gorilla Nest / Kinigi guest house. (FB)
Day 3: Transfer to Mgahinga National Park
After breakfast, drive to Gatuna border (Rwanda-Uganda border) and cross to Uganda section. Proceed to Mgahinga National Park, Kisoro. Visit Lake Mutanda before checking-in at your Lodge. Arrive and relax at the lodge while preparing for the Gorilla trek the next day.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking
Have an early morning breakfast and pack your lunch before heading off for the trekking. The activity can take a full day though adventurous and exciting.
I case the Gorillas are on the Rwanda side, we will do the alternative Golden Monkey tracking (trekking) which will be an exhilarating experience. In both cases we pack our lunches for the journey.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest found in the southern part of the country. On arrival, relax at the lodge while preparing for the gorilla trek the next day.

Day 6: Uganda Gorilla trekking
An early morning breakfast and briefing by a ranger guide, enter into the Gorilla Sanctuary for your adventure. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense and criss-crossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. Mammals in the forest include the endangered mountain gorilla, rare golden monkey, buffalo, elephant, black fronted duiker, bushbuck, leopard, giant forest hog and many others. The park is known for its fascinating gorillas. The time taken and the terrain vary according to the movements of these marvelous primates. The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is a rare moving, awesome and exciting adventure.

Day 7: Departure
Past breakfast, head back to Kampala or Rwanda for either Dinner and Overnight stay or Airport flight home.
